A 6-month full-time operations internship at Uber Johannesburg giving hands-on exposure to marketplace operations, strategic analysis, data-driven problem solving, and cross-functional project execution across Uber's Mobility or Delivery business. Start date: 6 July 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work on live impactful projects linked to how the business moves people and goods
• Support Operations Managers across Mobility or Delivery
• Analyse datasets and provide creative solutions
• Solve key strategic problems through analytical frameworks
• Experiment with pricing, demand building, segmentation, and customer operations
• Collaborate across operations, finance, policy, communications, product, marketing, legal, and customer support

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme for the full internship duration
• Must have work authorisation in South Africa
• SQL knowledge and basic Python or statistical package experience preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
